I really don't see what the advantage of doing this would be. Also, you would incur fees to do this.

Just keep making timely payments on your credit cards.

Good luck.

consolidating the debt only means that you will be recharging on the cleared credit card and that's not good. Plus if you do find and have an agency consolidate your bills you will have to pay them an "extra" fee over and above what you owe.

The simplest way to get rid of your bills is to take a second or third job, sell your junk (like have a yard sale..indoors in winter), take the bus, do car maintenance yourself, stop buying, make yourself a budget (to see where you stand) and then write to the companies you owe and (offer to make) or ask if you could make a payment plan from the amount "you" are able to pay and tell them how much you can pay per month. So that when they take you to court you can show the judge that at least "you" tried to make a payment plan. Yo made the bills so you need to pay for them one way or the other. The companies can garnish/take your IRS refund, can garnish your wages. I suggest you eat a lot of beans and rice, don't go out, and cut your expenses. Consolidating is not the answer. Taking control is.
